MARGARITA LEON

Founder of Gypsy Goddess Creations | Performer, Transformational Costume Designer, Entertainment Coordinator, Mentor & Creative Visionary

Margarita Leon is the creative force behind Gypsy Goddess Creations, a business born from her lifelong dedication to the performing arts. With a background in theatre, film, costume design, and stage entertainment management, Margarita has built a career both on and behind the stage—bringing visions to life, empowering performers, and weaving art into unforgettable experiences.

Her passion for theatre and storytelling began in Spain during her childhood, where she discovered her love for acting and character creation. Following her passion in her twenties, she travelled to Melbourne, where she co-founded the Spanish Theatre Company, bringing her heritage and creative vision to life on stage for several years.

A few years later, she decided to embark on an ambitious project and produced her first feature film, The Silence of the Objects. After completing this project, she returned to Australia to direct her first solo film, The Widow of Humanity, in Byron Bay.

She loved theatre and filmmaking with all her heart—it had always been her first passion in life. But because such projects were such large undertakings, she eventually decided to focus on more self-sufficient artistic pathways: performing at festivals, designing costumes, and crafting elaborate transformational headpieces that became her signature.

Through this work, she discovered that handcrafting headpieces was far more than a passion—it was her true calling in life.

This creative evolution, and her firm decision to follow her true calling, culminated in her first solo exhibition Goddess Rising in Fremantle, Western Australia. It also marked the launch of her business, Gypsy Goddess Creations, and the steady growth of her custom design work for performers and clients who felt deeply drawn to her art pieces.

Alongside her headpiece creations, her experience as a performer and in entertainment management has given her invaluable insight into the world of professional performance—helping countless artists gain confidence, deepen their artistry, and build the portfolios that launched their careers.

During this process, Margarita discovered her second calling: helping others gain confidence and embrace their inner power and potential through her transformational costumes, the performing arts, and the sacred expression of flow performance, fire performance, and movement.

Over the last five years, Margarita has led festivals and event entertainment coordination, as well as directed sacred open ceremony acts—creating opportunities for emerging artists and performers. Acting as a mentor, she has supported many in stepping into their full power as artists.

Margarita has also guided groups of women through performance rituals rooted in collaboration, mutual support, and shared empowerment. Through working with the Goddess energy, she has helped both women and men cultivate confidence, feel more at home in their bodies, and embrace self-expression as both an art form and a sacred practice.

After years of creating, directing, and supporting others, Margarita came to understand not only her own stage presence but also the deeper art of what it takes to truly hold an audience through movement, art, expression and authenticity.

She believes in creating a safe, inspiring space where individuals rise together honoring each other’s journeys and co-creating art that uplifts the whole.

Through the years, Margarita has become more than a performer—she is a mentor, a guide, and a creative visionary who believes every person carries a unique creative magic waiting to be expressed. Seeing so many talented souls held back by fear or not really knowing where to start, she felt called to create a safe, inspiring space where individuals could grow—not only in technique but in confidence and self-expression, while helping them try new things, follow their passions, and find the strength to go for it—and, in doing so, embrace themselves fully.

That calling has now taken full form. Margarita feels ready to share the wisdom she has gathered through years of performance, creativity, and mentorship.

She has poured her heart, passion, and soul purpose into the Gypsy Goddess Creative Journey: The Art of Becoming Workshop Series—a transformative program offering the very guidance she once wished for when first stepping onto her own path of artistry and self-empowerment.

Rooted in lived experience, creativity, and devotion, this series weaves together flow and fire arts, stage confidence, sacred dance and ritual, costume artistry, performance initiation, group choreography, and the cultivation of true presence, self-esteem, and confidence.

Beyond the art itself, it also provides the tools to transform creativity into a thriving business, making this journey not only one of artistic empowerment but also of profound self-discovery and alignment with soul purpose.

Margarita’s greatest joy is witnessing individuals step into their artistic power—uncovering the beauty, strength, and confidence that has always lived within them. With every workshop, she continues her mission to guide others in shining fully—both on stage and in life.

One of Margarita’s greatest missions is to help and inspire others to follow their passions—or at least give themselves the chance to try.

She believes that stepping beyond the comfort zone is where true magic begins, and that it is far better to explore your creative calling than to spend a lifetime wondering “what if.”

Through her work, Margarita empowers others to take that leap, embrace their gifts, and discover the path that could lead them to their deepest purpose in life.

From the depths of her own experience and journey, she believes that by giving yourself permission to follow, try, and explore the passions that call to you — or even the things you simply feel drawn toward — you may uncover unexpected pathways, branches of inspiration that guide you to your true calling, allowing you to create a life of deep fulfillment, joy and freedom: doing what you love and living what you are destined for

I didn’t know how to take the first step — until I met Margarita.

She guided me with so much care and clarity, helping me build my portfolio and giving me the opportunities to step onto real stages for the first time.

Nearly three years later, I’m now working as a professional performer — something I once thought was out of reach.

Margarita’s mentorship, belief in me and constant support made all the difference.

She not only helped me start my career but gave me the confidence to truly shine.

I feel so happy, proud and grateful to be living my dream and I’m so thankful for Margarita’s guidance and support.

Stefania Aleo

Working with Margarita was truly transformative.

In our 1:1 sessions, she helped me build the confidence and stage presence I needed to step into my power.

With her guidance and support, I was able to prepare for my debut performance alongside the incredible Deya Dova — an experience I never thought possible.

Margarita believed in me before I believed in myself, and through her mentorship I discovered strength, courage and creativity I didn’t know I had.

This journey has changed me forever.

Natalie Ros

When I first met Margarita, she saw something in me that I couldn’t see in myself.

She believed in me before I believed in me, and that changed everything.

Thanks to her encouragement, I stepped onto the Solouk stage for the very first time — an experience that lit a fire in me.

Margarita’s guidance, support and ability to make me realize I am truly special gave me the courage to keep going.

Performing became a passion, and now, over two years later, I can’t imagine my life without it.

Through her mentorship, I not only discovered the joy of performing on stage but also the freedom of exploring my creativity.

That journey has even led me to start my own DJ career, something I never thought I would do.

I’ll forever be grateful to Margarita for opening this door, for reminding me of my worth, and for supporting me every step of the way.

She doesn’t just help you to be a performer — she helps you discover your magic.
